The “Mindfulness in the Workplace” suite incorporates emotional intelligence frameworks, practical positive psychology theory and established mindful practices. When individuals, teams and leaders behave more mindfully in the workplace, interactions are enhanced, teaming capabilities are optimized and results exponentially improved.

Through a plethora of brain science and research, we now know that the brain and its abilities are ever-changing – forging new pathways allowing us to continually learn and grow. Through advanced science, we also now know that what once adaptive behavior allowing us to survive is now often maladaptive and harmful to our ability to perform at our best in every aspect of our lives. In the workplace, this can impact how we build relationships, make decisions, how we stay calm under pressure and ultimately the way we lead. On a personal level – which also impacts the workplace – we could be harming our very health.

This basic training program offers participants an understanding of the foundations of emotional intelligence (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management) and the intersection of mindfulness becoming present and focused). Through this introductory level learning, participants will be introduced to core psychological constructs such as resilience, optimism, confidence and other resources that bolster effectiveness and emotional well-being. Being your best shouldn’t be random – anchoring your mindset is an active and intentional process.
